Garden Grove: My final choice for the fern garden grove is the florist's fern (Dryopteris spinulosa), known also as spinulose woodfern. When approaching a grove of these plants in the woods you see a fern that typifies ferns. And when buying flowers from a florist, this fern usually supplies the leaves in the arrangement. The florist's fern needs light shade and must be well-watered to prevent burning of the fronds. Plants erow about 30 inches tall and form crowns.
The inclusion of an arresting object within a small garden grove is an excellent way of detracting the eye from adjacent buildings and into the garden grove itself. The focal point in this garden grove is an ornate wrought-iron seat, which leads the eye down the garden grove. The rather austere rectangular lawn is surrounded by a mass of pretty, shrubby little plants, which together help to soften the overall look of the garden grove.See Also Teak Garden Furniture:"We sell more double lounges than single," says Brendan Barry, owner of Barong Furniture and accessories in West Hollywood, whose outdoor furniture offerings are primarily teak garden furniture and iron. What does this say about the L.A. lifestyle? "Let's just say people like to cuddle," he says with a laugh.
Painted Surfaces: Washing down with multipurpose Boat soap is
sufficient. For cabinets, mix in an antifungus additive.
Varnished Surfaces: Wash down with fresh water; note that breaks in a varnished surface may have allowed discoloration to start these will require bleaching before re-varnishing.
teak garden furniture: Use one of several special teak garden furniture cleaners available. Then restore color with a teak garden furniture oil/sealer.
On The Other Hand See Zen Gardens:6. Palaces and zen gardens Denmark's castles form a very notable company. They mostly date from the 16th century and are almost invariably surrounded by beautiful parks and zen gardens. In the capital there are Rosenborg and Frederiksberg, supplemented gardenwise by the Royal Horticultural zen gardens and the city's splendidly landscaped Botanical zen gardens. Other castles in Zealand are Hiller0d's Frederiksborg (already mentioned), not to be confused with Frederiksfcerg, and Naestved's Gis-selfeld, while beyond the confines of Zealand at least seven leap up in the mind to be counted.
zen gardens are at their magnificent best in sun-warmed Monaco, so closely guarded from rough winds by the Maritime Alps. Four varied zen gardens, all beautifully maintained, are the Casino Park and Flower Beds; the Exotic zen gardens (with interesting grottoes), appropriately known as "Petite Afrique," boasting tropical trees and shrubs; the neighboring Park of Princess Antoinette; and the St. Martin zen gardens, with their handsome pines, adjacent to the Oceanographic Museum on Monaco Rock.
